IaaC's Physical Computing seminar offers students an introduction to real-time interaction design through building physical computing environments. Students are challenged to create responsive facade systems through a combination of various sensors, controllers, actuators, and display technologies. Gathering input data and commands that trigger specific outputs, the projects mix the hardware of microcontrollers with open-source programming language softwares, to build functional installations of interactive elements for architectural concepts.
